Trickster

Trickster was bred into the "pet trade" and sold to a private owner who had little knowledge of what it takes to care for a coydog. They simply wanted to own a piece of the wild, but weren't prepared for it in their home. We were originally contacted by the owner to inquire about health issues and behavior problems. We gave them tips on what type of diets we have found to work well and how to work through some behavioral issues and wished them luck. Evidently, that wasn't enough because a few weeks later they contacted us again wanting to surrender the little boy to us.

Trickster is a fitting name for this little guy. He is into everything. He loves to play hide and seek with the toys and wears everyone out with his high energy level, especially his mate Kachina.
