Tucson

Very low content coydog

Born: August 2001

Tucson was picked up by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region just before Christmas of 2001. He had been roaming the streets of Colorado Springs. They thought he had a few coyote characteristics that would make him unadoptable and asked us to come evaluate him. We aren't sure what kind of canine Tucson is but believe there is a little bit of coyote mixed with Elkhound. He has very few "coyotish" physical characteristics, but he does demonstrate a few behavioral traits that could be considered to be coyote. He was probably under 6 months old when he was caught.

He was still very much a cute, cuddly puppy in many ways at the time.  Today, he hasn’t changed that much. He can’t get enough attention and will resort to great lengths to get that attention.  His favorite spot is in anyone’s lap.
