| | | | Thunder (male) and Talia (Female)Have Been Adopted! | |
| | Thunder is one of seven animals taken from a private owner in Michigan. The owner was being forced to give up his beloved pets due to a new law in Michigan regulating ownership of wolfdogs. All seven of these animals have been handled and are friendly. Their bloodlines on both sides can be traced back to include a lineage of ancestors with excellent temperaments and few problems. The owner did an excellent job of giving each one of them some extra individual attention. They are presently housed at Night Song Refuge in NC. Contact Cathy Beall for more information. She can put you in touch with the right person closest to you to help start the application process.
Thunder (male top photo) and Talia (Female bottom photo) are both two years old. Even though they are brother and sister they are very bonded. Preference is given to someone willing to adopt both together. They are both very friendly. Thunder is the most dominant male out of the offspring. Any introductions to another male would have to be done slowly and more than likely only a submissive male. He is protective of his pack. Indigo Mountain provides information and photos of the animals needing forever homes for rescuers throughout the country. Indigo Mountain does NOT facilitate these adoptions unless we are listed as the contact on a specific animal. A link to the rescuer's email is provided on every adoptable page. Please use that link to contact the rescuer directly.
