Koda - Lower/Mid Content Wolfdog

UPDATE 03/24/2008

Koda has been adopted

Koda is a 2 yr old very sweet, non aggressive girl who was abandoned up in the mountains in Oregon.  She gave birth to puppies in over 4' of snow and a very kind man who owned a cabin next to where she had made herself a den for she and her puppies saw that she had given birth and started coming up bringing her food, a heated water dish, blankets and a fluffy doggie bed for her puppies in their den under a cabin.

Luckily for Koda this man saw her plight and took care of her for she and her puppies thrived.   Koda is now in rescue in E. WA where she is being fostered.  She will be spayed soon and will start being introduced to other dogs at the rescue.  Because of Koda's abandonment, she has turned pretty wild and although she is not at all aggressive and allowed the handling of her puppies while she was there with them, she so far has not been able to be touched.

She will need someone with lots of patience and love to give...someone willing to give her the time she needs to learn to trust and become friends.  Koda will require very secure containment as well and would be happiest having a male companion. She is very submissive to nice male dogs.

Please contact Kim at wolflady@earthlink.net for more info on Koda.
